Welcome to Motor City Memories — Detroit's home for estate sales, antiques & community.

About Motor City Memories

We are three friends with one shared ambition: to preserve the past and help memories find their way into new hands.

Together, we bring years of experience in picking, flea markets, estate sales, collectibles, and discovering the unique items that often carry a story far greater than their price tag. What began as a shared passion eventually brought us together to create Motor City Memories — a business built around helping people preserve, rediscover, and pass along pieces of the past.

For us, the thrill has always been in the hunt: finding an incredible item and putting it into the hands of someone who will appreciate it just as much as the person who owned it before. Sometimes that means helping someone find the missing piece of a collection. Other times, it means reconnecting someone with an item that reminds them of a particular person, place, or moment in their life.

But Motor City Memories is about more than finding and selling great items.

We also understand that there are times when a home, estate, or collection can become overwhelming. A family may be dealing with the loss of a loved one, preparing for a move, downsizing, or simply facing years of accumulated belongings and wondering, “What do we do with all of this?”

That's where we can help.

We take the time to assess each situation, understand what the customer needs, and recommend the best way forward. Whether that means an estate sale, cleanout, evaluating a collection, purchasing select items, or simply providing guidance, our goal is to make the process as straightforward, manageable, and financially beneficial as possible for each customer.

At the heart of Motor City Memories is a simple belief:

The things we collect aren't always just things. They carry stories, history, and memories — and sometimes the right person is simply waiting to find them again.

That's what Motor City Memories is here to preserve.
